Salary Range:  Non-exempt, starting wage of $19.75 to $24.68 per hour, based on qualifications and experience, part time benefits summarized on page 2 of Benefits At A Glance - Staff

Position Summary: The main responsibility of this role is to act as the primary helpdesk technician, providing support for information technology issues. Additionally, the position involves providing in-person assistance to resolve problems related to computers, peripherals, classroom technologies, phones, audio-visual equipment, and other technology-related matters.  Not to exceed 29 hours per week.

Qualifications:  
Required:  • Two years of experience in a technology or support related environment. • Broad knowledge of and practical experience with various software applications, operating systems, networked clients, hardware troubleshooting and audio-visual systems.  • Must have strong written and verbal communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.  • Ability to learn independently and willingness to participate in additional training when needed.  • Demonstrated customer relations experience and abilities and organizational skills.  
Preferred:  • Associate degree or higher in a computer or technical related field.  • Experience providing computer support in an educational environment.  • Experience with audio-visual control systems.  • Applicable industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certifications. • Experience with computer and printer hardware repair. • Experience with Active Directory Account Management.
