  • Five Core Values

We believe in five core values that guide the chamber's internal conduct as well as our relationship with the external world including members, stakeholders, regional partners, and the community at large.

    • Community Minded: We define our community as the Illinois Valley Area, comprised of 24 communities in three counties in North Central Illinois. Our passion for the community drives our continuous efforts and activities toward improvement. We work tirelessly to engage and re-engage the leadership resources to make a great community even better.
    • Service: We work hard to develop services and solutions to our members based on the feedback we receive. The support that we are able to provide such a unique group of businesses and organizations is what will set us apart.
    • Integrity: We hold ourselves personally accountable for demonstrating the highest standards in all that we do. We honor our commitments and strive to earn and maintain the trust of those with whom we are privileged to associate.
    • Accountability: We will do what we believe is in the best interest of our members and the communities we serve, with that comes a need to hold ourselves accountable for the actions and stances we take. We will make these decisions based on the impact of our members as a whole as we are accountable to the needs of 400+ members not just a select few.
    • Diversity: Our region is a unique melting pot of many different people, beliefs, and businesses. We will work to provide a diverse set of programs that helps meet the needs of all of our members. We will also work to diversify our board to ensure that all are represented and have a voice.
