    Description:  Anatomy and Physiology Instructor, Tenure Track, 9-Month Contract paid over 12 months.  The position is expected to begin August 2026.

    Position Summary:  Teach and assess student learning outcomes in Anatomy and Physiology and other biology courses. Develop and promote Anatomy and Physiology and biology curriculum designed both as transfer courses to four-year colleges/universities and applied degree programs. In collaboration with colleagues, be responsible for ongoing curriculum evaluation and improvement within the context of IVCC’s general education philosophy.  Facilitate student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college, and community events; and assist with student recruitment. 

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Biology or closely related area with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology from an accredited college/university required.
    • Teaching experience at the college level in Anatomy and Physiology preferred.
    • Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.  
    • Previous experience with Smart classroom technology is a plus.
