The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) will hold their Business Breakfast Seminar on Wednesday, February 13th @ 7:15 a.m. at Mario's Maples in Peru, "IVAC - Year in Review".The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) will hold their Business Breakfast Seminar on Wednesday, February 13th @ 7:15 a.m. at Mario's Maples in Peru. 2018 was a great year of progress for IVAC and as we continue into 2019, the relationships, programs and services will continue to evolve in order to meet the needs of members and exceed expectations. Join IVAC Executive Director, Joni Hunt for a 2018 year in review and learn what our goals and objectives are for 2019.
Joni is passionate about people, places, and prosperity. Serving as Executive Director of the Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development since 2015, she has had repeated opportunities to assist project managers in finding properties, buildings, and financing. Joni feels these opportunities are important to the Illinois Valley whether its partnering with an expansion of a corner Mom and Pop retailer, or negotiating rail service options for a multi-national corporation.Her goal is to exceed the expectations of the community by engaging all appropriate resources toward economic development along the backbone of this region.
