150th
Anniversary of the National Historic Landmark Hegeler Carus Mansion. This special release celebrates the Mansion's
Biergarten & Steampunk Fashion Show Gala on Saturday, September 19, 2026, while helping support the preservation of one of Illinois' architectural treasures.

The Story Behind the Whiskey
This commemorative expression begins with our award-winning 75-25 Whiskey, which has been finished in the same cask that previously held the Seven-Year Reserve Rum with a Sherry Cask Finish.
The journey of the barrel is as unique as the whiskey itself. The Seven-Year Reserve Rum was matured for five years in a whiskey barrel before spending its final two years finishing in a sherry cask. After bottling the Rum in early May, the freshly emptied sherry/rum cask was immediately filled with a two handselected barrel of Star Union Spirits 75-25 Whiskey. The whiskey has since rested in this exceptional
barrel, developing additional layers of dried fruit, caramel, spice, oak, and subtle rum sweetness that
complement the original 75-25 Whiskey's character. The result is a one-of-a-kind reserve whiskey created
specifically for this milestone celebration. Only 150 bottles will be released.
The 75-25 Whiskey Bottling Experience
Guests are invited behind the scenes for a unique hands-on bottling experience along with a short tour
and a preview tasting of the newly bottled whiskey.
Participants will:
- Fill their own bottle
- Cork and label their commemorative bottle
- Learn about the finishing process and barrel selection
- Enjoy cocktails made with the 75-25 Reserve available for purchase throughout the evening
This interactive event provides supporters with an opportunity to participate in creating a whiskey that
celebrates the Mansion's 150-year legacy while helping raise funds for its continued preservation.

Reserved bottles may be picked up that evening. Additional bottles from the Star Union Spirits
portfolio, including the original Barrel 13, 75-25 Whiskey and the Seven-Year Reserve Rum
Seven-Year Reserve Rum with a Sherry Cask Finish, will also be available for purchase.
