HARBOR INN AND REELCREATIVE ANNOUNCE “EXPERIENCE STARVED ROCK COUNTRY’ MULTI-YEAR CAMPAIGN Seasonal moments, outdoor adventure, and regional lifestyle come together
Ottawa, IL — reelCreative and Harbor Inn Vacation Rentals by Heritage Harbor have announced a new collaborative, multi-year media campaign titled ‘Experience Starved Rock Country’ to elevate how visitors experience Starved Rock Country and position Harbor Inn as a leading gateway to the region’s lifestyle, seasons, and outdoor culture.
Set to begin filming in 2026, with the first public releases anticipated in 2027, the campaign will feature a series of cinematic 0:30 video spots and supporting media assets. Each piece will highlight seasonal moments that showcase the Harbor Life, including river cruises and evenings by the fire to hiking at Starved Rock State Park, local dining, markets, and regional attractions.
The campaign’s objective is twofold: to introduce travelers to Harbor Inn as a must-stay destination when visiting Starved Rock Country, and to position the brand as an active leader in promoting broader regional tourism experiences.
“Instead of centering on just the stay itself, this campaign focuses on the full experience of visiting the region,” said Matthew Klein, Co-Founder of reelCreative. “Harbor Inn is taking initiative and showcasing dozens of activities for tourists, from hiking and local dining to seasonal events and time on the river. We want viewers to feel like they’re already here.”
‘Experience Starved Rock Country’ will be distributed collaboratively across web, social, and paid media channels, expanding visibility for Harbor Inn while reinforcing its role in supporting regional tourism and economic vitality.
