     The first baby of 2019 to be born at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru arrived Wednesday January 2, 2019 when Cindy Hernandez of LaSalle gave birth to a boy at 9:21pm.Jesus Lopez Jr entered the world weighing 8 pounds and 7ounces.  He was 19 1/2 inches in length at birth.The child is the first for Hernandez and her partner Jesus Lopez.Dr. Glenn Helwig delivered the baby.The last baby of ...read more

Weighing 5 pounds 5 ounces and measuring 18.5 inches long, Alfredo Canchola was welcomed into this world at 11:06 p.m. on January 1, 2019.
