    IVCH is an independent 49-bed not-for-profit acute care hospital that has been serving the Illinois Valley for more than 100 years. IVCH has the area's largest emergency department, most modern obstetrics unit and the only wound and hyperbaric center in the area. Knee and hip replacement patients have given The Joint Replacement Center at IVCH consistently high satisfaction scores on national surveys comparing IVCH outcomes to joint replacement outcomes at other hospitals. The Illinois Department of Public Health has designated IVCH an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics hospital.
