About Us
In 2011, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media from the University of Dubuque. I am currently working as a designer for the Dyersville Commercial, Eastern Iowa Shopping News & Cascade Pioneer. My job involves designing newspaper advertisements for all three publications, as well as special sections for each paper. In the past I have worked as a designer for Premier Bank and WoodwardBizMedia, both located in Dubuque, IA. For both positions I worked on multiple pieces of collateral for a wide variety of cliental.
For me, being a graphic designer is more than just a job. Designing is something I am very passionate about and love doing. When I get home from work my brain doesn’t stop. If there is a design I am working on I will continue to try to find inspiration to make that design thrive. Designers can have the greatest creativity in the world, but if they don’t have the work ethic to see those designs through, they will never become a reality. I have that work ethic & creativity.
When I am not designing, I love spending time with family and friends, running, playing and watching sports and traveling.
