    Reports To:  Tutoring Coordinator

    Salary Range:  Non-Exempt, $23.50 to $29.37 per hour based on education and experience; part-time benefits included, linked here on Page 2: Benefits At A Glance - Staff

    Position Summary:  The Tutoring Lead assists with the daily operations of tutoring. They help recruit, mentor, manage and schedule student workers. They lead training in writing across the curriculum and in conducting tutoring sessions. They also collect and analyze Tutoring data and promote Tutoring services to students, faculty, staff, and the community.

    Hours of Work:  This is a 12-month part-time position, flexible, 29 hours per week, evenings possible.

    Qualifications:  1. Bachelor's degree required. 2. Master's degree preferred. 3. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students required. 4. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required. 5. Experience providing training to tutors preferred.  6. Experience working in a post-secondary tutoring and/or writing center preferred. 7. Teaching or tutoring experience at the high school or college level preferred. 8. Supervisory experience preferred. 

    Working Conditions:  Office and open center environment
