Lunch With Leaders

Laura Butterfield is the local Business Services Representative with the Business Employment Skills Team, Inc. (BEST, Inc.) Laura has served in this capacity since 2020 and previously was the La Salle County Youth Case Manager for 6 years.  Laura has a BS in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University and is a Certified Workforce Development Professional through the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals.  Laura will cover the benefits of working with best through their various Work Based Learning service that can reimburse area businesses for the cost of training new hires and/or upskilling their existing workforce.  She will also cover a unique opportunity to "try-out" an eligible applicant before making a commitment to hire.   Additional services offered through the workforce system will also be presented.
