LP High School presents ''Bye Bye Birdie''

LaSalle Peru Township High School presents "Bye Bye Birdie" a 1960 Broadway production inspired by the story of Elvis Presely and his draft notice into the Army.  Popular singer Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the army so his agent plans a publicity stunt in which Birdie will perform one last song and give one of his teenage fans a kiss on live TV before he leaves.
