Kure for Kara Fundraisesr

Several fundraisers are planned for Kara Woodshank, who is battling Leukemia, including the Kure for Kara benefit at Senica's Oak Ridge to help with expenses not covered by insurance and financial hardship associated with prolonged illness and lengthy hospital treatment. 

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at

First State Bank, Peru; Kramer Guns in Ladd; Lori Janko Wilke State Farm in Peru; Spring Valley Chiropractic, and Senica's Oak Ridge in LaSalle.  Monetary donations made be deposited at First State Bank Peru under Kure for Kara. 

Other fundraisers are:  May 8th-Hy-Vee, Peru 9am-9pm; May 15-Culver's, Peru 5-9pm; May 19- Cherry Berry Peru Mall; and Big Lots-Peru Memorial Day weekend.
