Kids and Siberian huskies to welcome Santa to Peru Mall PERU, IL, Nov. 10, 2014--- A dog and sleigh escort for the jolly old man himself, Santa Claus, will kick off the holiday season beginning 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 at Peru Mall. Santa will arrive in the shopping center?s Sears wing on a sleigh pulled by four white Siberian huskies from the Adopt A Husky organization. He?ll make his way through the shopping center to his winter wonderland home, located in center court, where children of all ages can sit on the jolly man?s knee and whisper gift wishes. Youngsters visiting Santa during his arrival Saturday, Nov. 22 will enjoy cookies and hot chocolate while care givers can refresh with coffee or water, courtesy of the shopping center, at center court. All children visiting Santa throughout the season will receive a floatable holiday toy, while supplies last. Families can also capture holiday picture memories as youngsters will have an opportunity to pet the friendly Huskies and talk to their handlers. Find this activity from 11:30 a.m. to noon in center court. While visiting Santa is free, professional, state-of-the-art digital photography packages are available to capture Santa visitation moments that will be treasured for years to come. All photos are viewable immediately and photo packages are available. Santa will remain in residence at Peru Mall until December 24.
