• New Member FAQs

  • How do I join? – Visit our website, fill out the application, and select one of the five membership tiers. Any questions, email us or give our office a call!

    When will I get access to my benefits? – Once we receive the annual payment in full, we’ll provide access to the member benefits assigned to your selected tier.

    How long am I a member? – Membership is annual12 months. All members are on automatic renewal–we send you a new invoice each year. Your sign-up month becomes your renewal month moving forward.

    What are the payment options? – In the online application, you can select ‘bill me’ or ‘charge my card’. If you select ‘charge my card’, you’ll be asked for debit or credit card information and be able to pay immediately. If you select ‘bill me’, we’ll send you an invoice, which you can pay digitally or by dropping off or mailing us cash or check.

    Can I spread my payment out? – Not yet. New members must pay in full at initial registration. After your first year, we allow monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual payments for renewals.

  • Can I renew my membership at my old investment? – If you are renewing from July 2026 to December 2026, you can renew under the old investment structure. Starting January 2027, all renewals must transition to one of the new membership tiers.

    When can I switch to the new tiered structure? – The easiest time to switch is during your scheduled annual renewal month. Any member can transition sooner, but we will not prorate any previous annual dues.

    If you want to upgrade your investment, we can elevate you to that tier for the remainder of your current 12-month period with payment of the additional cost.

    We’re happy to get members on the new structure sooner rather than later. Members may forgo their current investment and select one of the new tiers. Renewal will be assigned to the new month.

    What is my ‘assigned tier’? – That is the tier closest to your current/previous annual dues investment. We assigned you that tier to give everyone a starting point for upgrades and downgrades. If everyone restarted at $350, we would not survive as an organization.

    I want to downgrade more than one tier, can I? – Of course, but we want to talk to you first! We are an organization built on the support of our members, and we want to discuss the impact of your support and the benefits you’ll lose should you choose to downgrade significantly.

    I chose a tier, but I now realize I want more. Can I upgrade? – Yes! Members can upgrade anytime by paying the additional cost of the new tier. Once you do so, we’ll get you access to your additional benefits for the remainder of your 12-month period. Members in the Leadership Circle, Visionary Investor, or Cornerstone Member tiers can also contact us about a la carte benefits.

    Will invoices, payment methods, and communication change at all? – We will follow many of the same steps as before, but you’ll hear from us more! You’ll still be invoiced annually for automatic renewal, and you’ll still be able to pay through same methods. We want to make sure all members are aware of their benefits moving forward and understand the value of being a member of IVAC.

    Can I spread my payment out? – Yes! We allow monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual payments for renewals. Instead of 1 invoice a year, we’ll break your payment into 12, 4, or 2 payments. We try to be accommodating and flexible for all members!

    If I miss a payment, when do I lose my membership? – Members have 30 days to pay annual dues invoices. Members enter a 60-day probation period with limited benefits if payment is not received within 30 days. The probation period ends once payment is received and benefits will be restored. If payment is not received after the 60-day probation, membership is dropped.

    How do I drop membership? – You can drop membership or chose not to renew by calling or emailing the IVAC office. We will confirm with you before dropping your membership.

    Can I rejoin again after I drop membership? – Yes! If none of your original information has changed, you can contact us and we’ll restart your membership at any tier you select once payment is made. However, dropping membership does forgo any long-term membership perks as we’ll restart your membership at year one.
