    Reports to: Director of Food and Beverage

    Compensation: $9/Hour plus tips for public events AND $14/Hour plus tips for private events/campground shifts

     

    SUMMARY: Bartenders are responsible for preparing beverages for guests according to established recipes, keeping a clean and organized station, doing side work and delivering unparalleled service to our guests. A friendly, accommodating demeanor, as well as an ability to multitask, are essential attributes for success in this position. Camp Aramoni's bartenders have the opportunity to serve drinks at Bricks & Stones as well as The Burlington. Barista experience is a plus as we also sell coffee from our Airstream bar every morning. From working behind the bar to providing en-suite service, the bartender position at Camp Aramoni is all-encompassing.

     

    SCHEDULE: Bartenders should be available to work weekend events at Bricks & Stones as well as regular evening weekday shifts at The Burlington.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility in a safe and satisfactory manner, and the individual must be punctual and have a good attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to work. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     

    • Be familiar with bar setup, execution and breakdown

    • Take food and beverage orders

    • Input orders into our POS system and fire orders to the kitchen when necessary

    • Present checks to guests and complete the payment process for every transaction

    • Prep all bar mise en place including syrups, fruit and garnishes

    • Understand how to make classic and house specialty cocktails

    • Batch cocktails to pars

    • Understand appropriate wine service

    • Maintain cleanliness of the bar and service areas

    • Set up glasses and ice for bar service. 

    • Polish and stock glasses, plates and silverware

    • Run food and drinks to guest rooms

    • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor

    • Monitor operating supplies and equipment

    • Reduce spoilage and waste when possible

    • Remove trash at the end of the shift
