Hours: The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work a flexible schedule, 40 hours per week, covering Monday/Thursday/Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and Tuesday/Wednesday 10:30am to 7:00pm.
Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Bursar and the Director of Admissions & Records and according to the department and/or College procedures and Board policy, the Student Services Information Specialist’s chief function is to provide day to day contact for students, faculty, and the community. This position will be responsible for assisting students in the registration, admissions and payment processes. This position will also provide clerical support to both departments.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree OR High School diploma/GED with relevant experience; high level of cooperation and professionalism; experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel; ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, ability to work some evening hours as assigned required. Previous experience in an administrative support position; previous experience working in either customer service or office with several staff in close proximity, covering duties for one another as necessary; knowledge of a student information system or integrated accounting system preferred.
