Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Director of Admissions and Records, the Student Recruitment Specialist is responsible for generating, marketing to, and communicating with traditional and nontraditional adult prospective students throughout the admission process. Additionally, the specialist will support and promote general departmental recruiting efforts consistent with the department’s annual recruitment plan at community and campus events.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree or one year related experience in recruitment, marketing, sales, customer service, or public relations preferred. Ability to travel to off-site locations such as area high schools, community centers, and businesses; work evenings and/or weekends as needed; operate a personal computer with Microsoft Office; work independently or within a team setting; and successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently in process required. Experience with event coordination, working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Colleague, Banner, etc.), with CRM Slate, and public speaking experience preferred.
