    Reports To:  Dean of Nursing Programs

    Salary Range:  Salary contingent upon qualifications and experience; Grant Funded

    Position Summary:  The Access, Transition, and Retention (ATR) Coordinator is responsible for working with admissions staff to attract and enroll qualified individuals into the nursing program.  The ATR Coordinator provides support for those students enrolled in the program at the level in which they currently qualify and assists them with reaching their goals through transition from CNA to LPN or RN, LPN to RN, and from RN to BSN.  The coordinator is also pivotal in providing support through remediation and retention efforts at all levels.  

    Hours of Work:  This is a 12-month grant-funded position, on Oglesby Campus, 20 hours per week

    Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university with two (2) years of student retention or related experience at a college/university setting -OR- an Associate's Degree or 60 hours from an accredited college/university with five (5) years of student retention or related experience at a college/university setting required.  Experience in student development/engagement, academic advising, early alert intervention, and working with high-risk students from diverse backgrounds required.
