    Job Description
    SEARCH EXTENDED for IR/IT Programmer Analyst (Full-Time, Level 9, Exempt): Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology Services, the Programmer Analyst participates in analysis, design, coding, and other programming tasks for queries and reports used in the preparation of state reporting requirements and administrative reports. A successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology –OR –an Associate’s Degree with combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be obtained; strong analytical skills; familiarity with IT operation including a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices; an understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments; and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience working in higher education; 4 years of programming experience; 4 years of experience using SQL query tools; and knowledge of Ellucian Colleague (or similar ERP) application software preferred.
