Industrial Maintenance and Electricity Instructor, Tenure Track

Description:  Instructor in Industrial Maintenance and Electricity to begin August 2023

Salary Range:  Per Faculty Starting Salary Schedule plus excellent benefits package

Position Summary:  IVCC is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible person to teach and assess student learning in the Electricity and/or Industrial Maintenance and programs. The successful candidate will serve as the program coordinator, and share coordinator duties in the industrial maintenance and electricity programs. Duties would include curriculum development as well as student recruitment activities. In collaboration with colleagues, the candidate would be responsible for ongoing curriculum evaluation and improvement within the context of IVCC’s general education philosophy and facilitate student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college, and community events.

Qualifications:  An Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, industrial electricity, or a related field from an accredited college/university with a minimum of two years of industry experience required.  Demonstrated commitment to the mission of community college.  Bachelor's degree in related field, and Career and Technical Education teaching experience preferred.
 
Working Conditions:  Duties are performed in the usual classroom and lab environment
