Description: Emergency Medical Services Instructors, Part-Time Faculty
Position Summary: The Division of Workforce Development is seeking Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Instructor candidates to fill immediate teaching needs for the Spring Semester starting on January 14, 2021. EMS courses meet face to face at the main campus located in Oglesby. Opportunities for upcoming semesters may also be available.
Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university; current Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic licensure or Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse licensure; current IDPH EMS Lead Instructor licensure (or eligibility for EMS Lead Instructor licensure); minimum of four years of field experience in pre-hospital emergency care; at least two years of documented teaching experience; and instructor certification in one or more of the following: PHTLS, ITLS, AMLS, PALS, PEPP, BLS.
Salary: Per the Guidelines to Part-Time Faculty Employment
Working Conditions: Duties are performed in the usual classroom and lab environment
