    Description:  Electronic Resources Librarian, Full Time

    Salary Range:  Exempt, commensurate with education and experience, excellent benefits package

    Reports To:  Director of Learning Resources

    Position Summary:  Leads organization and maintenance of the IVCC library collection.  Links the IVCC community to information resources.  Facilitates discovery of resources through sound electronic resource practices.  Serves as a contributing member of the library leadership team.  Serves as a contributing member of the library leadership team and supervises technicians and student employees.

    Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in an ALA accredited Library Science program; proficiency using a variety of online information products, application software, and library automation systems; teaching or training experience; demonstrated commitment to continuing education; experience working in a library or similar environment; organizational skills with ability to maintain accurate, detailed records; experience troubleshooting electronic resources; ability to to multi-task and work in a team setting required.  Experience serving students and faculty in an academic or school library setting; supervisory experience; one year of recent professional e-resource management or related field experience; experience in electronic resource management, cataloging, and with LibGuides and coding languages such as HTML preferred.  Ability to lift 30 pounds in order to handle boxes of books and heavy carts preferred.
