Position Summary:    The Director of the Nursing Programs serves as a leader, mentor and advocate for faculty and students within the Nursing Department. The Director provides academic leadership in matters of curriculum development, assessment, and program evaluation and review. The Director works closely with the Dean of the Health Professions to ensure all aspects of the department and program are implemented according to college policy and procedure, as well as all local, state, and federal guidelines and statutes, while working within budget parameters.

Qualifications:  Master's Degree in Nursing; valid Registered Professional Nursing (RN) License maintained and approved by IDFPR; two years full-time experience as an instructor in a nursing education program; two years of experience in clinical nursing practice; proven teaching, administrative, and leadership abilities required.

Working Conditions:  Campus office environment
