    Description:  Director of Information Technology Services

    Position Summary:  Provide leadership, management and development for all academic and administrative technology, and communication systems and services.  The IT Director is responsible for the cross-department collaboration and strategic direction.  Ensure the findings of the Strategic IT Assessment and the Cybersecurity Assessment are implemented with integrity and enable a process to develop a 1 to 3-year technology plan to guide technology improvement efforts.  Establish and foster project management practices within the IT Department in order to promote effective collaboration and coordination among staff members.

    Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience managing IT teams with a proven track record in operational analysis, planning, service excellence, and project management OR an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 7 years of experience managing IT teams with a proven track record in operational analysis, planning, service excellence, and project management required.  Must possess demonstrated personnel leadership and managerial skills; demonstrated knowledge of hardware and software, telecommunications, web services and networking technologies, audio visual systems, and the security of the same; strong interpersonal skills, collaborative work orientation, and proven performance.  Master’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field; 5 years of experience in an education environment with significant experience in technology team management and systems; and strong background in working with Microsoft platforms and applications preferred.
