    Description:  Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, Full Time

    Reports To:  Vice President for Academic Affairs

    Salary Range:  Exempt; Commensurate with education and experience; Excellent benefits package

    Position Summary:  The Dean of Institutional Effectiveness is a key position related to accreditation, compliance, institutional research, innovation and planning, quality improvement, and strategic planning. This position ensures the quality of all academic programs at IVCC in that they meet expected standards for performance.

    Qualifications:  Master’s degree in higher educational leadership or a discipline taught by the College required; Earned doctorate degree preferred. Experience with academic and college-wide strategic planning; Experience with higher education accreditation, programmatic accreditation, and compliance; Experience with college-wide quality improvement (i.e., assessment of student learning, program review, etc.); Experience in the use of data collection and analysis for organizational decision-making and planning; Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines; and Experience with the supervision of staff required.  Evidence of collaboration and innovation; Experience with the management and oversight of grants; Teaching experience at the community college level; and Experience with state-wide college systems preferred.
