    Position Summary:  IVCC is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Computer Networking and Information Technology Instructor to teach and assess student learning in the Computer Networking Program. The successful candidate will serve as the program coordinator for the Computer Networking Program. Duties would include curriculum development as well as student recruitment activities. In collaboration with colleagues, the faculty member would be responsible for ongoing curriculum evaluation and improvement within the context of IVCC’s general education philosophy and facilitate student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college and community events.  See job description for a sample of courses the program offers.

    Qualifications:  Associate’s degree in computer networking or related field from an accredited college/university and five years of tested work experience in the computer systems technology field --OR-- Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 2000 hours of work experience in the field of computer networking or related area of computer information systems; and demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college required.  Teaching experience at the college or career level, and industry recognized credentials preferred.
    Working Conditions:  Duties are performed in the usual classroom and lab environment
