    • Lead and encourage ongoing communication between lounge, dining room, kitchen, banquet, sales and administrative areas to enhance quality of the operation.
    • Ensure that reservation process is implemented and maintained that makes the best use of the available space.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in wine, beer, food and liquor.  Advise and train cocktail wait staff on food and wine pairings and beer trends.
    • Manage a work environment that inspires the highest level of performance, commitment to the mission of the Lodge and teamwork within and across departments.
    • Manage the performance of staff and hold them accountable.  Provide for regular and immediate recognition for exceptional performance, as well as timely administration of corrective action.
    • Control all voids, discounts, sales and promotions by personal review/approval.
    • Follow Starved Rock’s established accounting procedures as detailed in the Accounting Manual.
    • Implement plans for responsible utilization of department resources.
    • Develop strong working relationships and ongoing communication with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
