• Loan Operations Processor

    This position will be permanently based out of a Eureka Savings Branch TBD.  



    Assists in the loan process by verifying information in all loan files, ordering documents needed to complete the files, updating information on the computer system, and paying property taxes on escrows in accordance with the bank’s policy and procedures and in compliance with pertinent regulatory requirements.



    · Demonstrates a commitment to achieve goals as a bank, department and individual

    · Answers incoming phone calls and resolves customer inquires

    · Reviews application packages for accuracy and completeness to produce closing documents for all loan types

    · Daily balancing of general ledgers, non-accruals and resolve non-post issues

    · Books new loans, loan renewals, extensions and modifications into database

    · Reviews ARM notices for loan changes

    · Processes payments, advances, accrual adjustments and payoffs

    · Prepares payoff letters and department invoices

    · Completes file maintenance on loans

    · Prepares outgoing wires and cashier’s checks for closings

    · Processes payment corrections and revises billing statements

    · Logs bankruptcy notices and returned mail. Distributes to lenders

    · Completes and returns verification of mortgage requests

    · Obtains, reviews and evaluates all due diligence documentation such as flood certificates, title work, appraisals, organizational documents, corporate searches and credit reports

    · Sets up tracking, resolutions and removals of loan exceptions within core system. Maintains tracking reports

    · Works with lending staff to resolve exceptions

    · Responsible for compliance with all bank policies and Federal and State Banking laws and regulations

    · Assists with data collection and reporting for loan support projects and audits

    · Prepares documents and record releases on mortgages. Sends customer paid mortgage

    · Escrow analysis disbursements for taxes and/or insurance

    · Performs other duties as assigned




    o Some college preferred

    o Loan and/or some banking experience

    o Resourcefulness using compliance alliance

    Knowledge & Skills

    o Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    o Strong time value of money comprehension

    o Excellent communication and customer service skills

    o Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
