    Hartauer Insurance Agency is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant for our office. The right individual will be expected to manage the insurance financial agreements, agency P&L reporting, monthly reconciliations and many more financial and insurance regulatory requirements that our office depends on. This individual must have at least (3) years of solid accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.  Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
    This position will entail administrative work as well as accounting.
    OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: Bookkeeper

     

    • The Bookkeeper will support the Controller and day to day accounting functions.
    • Recording bank transactions
    • Bank and account reconciliations
    • Accounts payable function
    • Monthly client reporting
    • Accounts receivable function
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bookkeeper

     
    • Accounting degree preferred.
    • Experience with QuickBooks and additional ERP systems
    • The bookkeeper will have strong MS Excel/systems skills
