Hartauer Insurance Agency is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative assistant for our office. The right individual will be expected to manage the insurance financial agreements, agency P&L reporting, monthly reconciliations and many more financial and insurance regulatory requirements that our office depends on. This individual must have at least (3) years of solid accounting and/or bookkeeping experience. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This position will entail administrative work as well as accounting.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: Bookkeeper
- The Bookkeeper will support the Controller and day to day accounting functions.
- Recording bank transactions
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Accounts payable function
- Monthly client reporting
- Accounts receivable function
- Accounting degree preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks and additional ERP systems
- The bookkeeper will have strong MS Excel/systems skills
