2nd Annual Photo Contest and Show
(Utica, IL) For anyone interested in photography and looking for a chance to display their work in public, Starved Rock Lodge in Utica, Illinois will host a public photography contest and show on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the Lodge’s Great Hall.The 2014 Photography Show theme is “Nature in Focus” and includes youth and adult divisions with five categories including Special Effects, Humorous, Wildlife, Canyon/Landscape and People/Hikers. The deadline to enter the contest is February 17, 2014. Winners will be announced at the opening of the show on February 23. Entrants may also apply to have a display/sale table at the show. The space fee for the show is $25.00. Space is limited. Contest rules and entry form are available on the Lodge’s website at www.starvedrocklodge.com.
“Nature in Focus” is a show to highlight the year round beauty of Starved Rock State Park and to allow park and lodge visitors to share their lucky shot or photographic masterpiece for all to see. For more information call 815-220-7386.
