Hands-on, One day, Survival Workshop
Participants will be taught the basic skills of survival that gave native people the ability to live in the wilderness. It's a chance to make rope from local plants and create your own bow-drill (fire-making set). There will be demonstrations on how to make tinder and teepee fire; identify edible and medicinal plants; and practice primitive hunting with throwing sticks. Experience first hand, the skills, tools, and philosophy of native awareness, tracking and survival. Everyone who registers will also take home their own personal cordage and bow-drill set!
This first-time event is open to a maximum of 10 people.
