Spend an evening hearing the tragic tale of the “Radium Dial Girls” and the story behind the Ottawa memorial honoring these young women. Speaker Madeline Piller is a native of LaSalle County and a sophomore at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Her passion for the Radium Dial Girls began in seventh grade during a history fair project. She has been the driving force behind the creation of a memorial to the Radium Dial Girls in Ottawa, IL. Dinner features a choice of two entrees, salad, soup, and dessert. A cash bar will be available. Reservations Required.
