DESCRIPTION:More than 30\,000 people are expected to visit the north central Illinois village of Utica on Sunday\, October 12\, 2014 to attend one of the state's longest running festivals.\nThe Burgoo Festival\, named for a hearty pioneer stew that will be served during the Sunday event\, is the 45th edition of the LaSalle County Historical Society's major fund raising event of the year.\n\nMore than 300 arts and craft vendors and flea marketers will line the streets of Utica between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Food vendors will offer butterflied porkchops\, barbecue\, home made ice cream\, cold drinks\, the Society's famous home made pies\, and more.\n\nVarious bands and vocalists will provide musical entertainment all day.
