DESCRIPTION:Illinois Valley Community Hospital in cooperation with the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois\, is sponsoring a free screening for kidney disease and diabetes from 10 am until 2 pm\, Friday\, June 8th in the IVCH room at the Peru Mall.\n\nScreening appointments can be made by calling IVCH at 815-780-4642.  Walk-ins will also be welcome.\n\nThe screening will include measurements of your blood pressure\, blood sugar\, body mass index and waist circumference along with a urinalysis and\, if necessary\, a blood dray.  You will also get a chance to talk with a healthcare professional about your results.\n\nOne in three American adults is at risk for kidney disease\, according to the National Kidney Foundation.
