SUMMARY:IOT Road Show at Starved Rock Lodge
DESCRIPTION:The Illinois Office of Tourism is ramping up for the 2013 Illinois Road Show\, Monday\, July 8 through Friday\, July 12. Each year IOT hits the road to share compelling economic and social benefits of Illinois' travel and tourism with industry partners and media. We have great news to share this year and it's a direct result of our hardworking tourism industry! The Road Show will be at Starved Rock Lodge on July 11 at 3 pm in the LaSalle Room. \n\n	\n\n	This year\, the IOT is putting the "show" in Road Show which will expand Road Show to five full days and include a social media component to encourage more consumer engagement along the way. They will be traveling the state in a fully-wrapped\, branded Road Show bus\; making an impact in each region by meeting with media and stakeholders and visiting more attractions and events. We will also recognize outstanding industry achievements and individuals along the way who have helped make Illinois tourism a success.\n\n	\n\n	The theme of this year's Road Show is the "Illinois Travel Effect"   highlighting how travel positively affects individuals and businesses through relationship building and increased productivity. We will announce industry news throughout Illinois\, including the latest visitor and economic impact numbers and upcoming statewide tourism initiatives.
