DESCRIPTION:What Would You Do?  Prepare for & Respond to the threat of an armed gunman. \n\nIL Valley SHRM will be partnering with the Bureau County Sheriff's Department to present an awareness program on the topic of Active Shooter. What Would You Do? Prepare for & Respond to the threat of an armed gunman.\n\nNote: January's Program will be hosted at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Spring Valley\, IL. We are partnering with the Bureau County Sheriff's Dept. so the program will take place in Bureau County. The meeting location will only be changed to the Wal-Mart DC for January 17\, 2018. It is important that you RSVP because we will need to present Security with a list of attendees. Also\, you will need to have a valid photo ID to enter the DC.\n\n The cost is $10 and that includes a guest speaker & lunch. Please RSVP to koconnor@staffsolutions.com or through Eventbrite.com to reserve a seat since we pre-order counts for our lunch. 11:30am - meeting & networking lunch is served\, 12noon-presentation begins.\n\nThe group\, which is comprised of approximately 40 local human resources professionals\, meets on the third Wednesday of each month LOCATION CHANGE FOR JANUARY WALMART DC 3100 IL-89\, SPRING VALLEY at 11:30 a.m. for a networking lunch followed by a speaker who addresses current topics and trends in the human resources industry. Sessions are typically pre-approved to count toward professional recertification hours for certified members. Annual membership dues are $25\, and monthly luncheons are $10. \n\nThe chapter\, which represents LaSalle\, Bureau and Marshall counties\, welcomes human resources professionals from all industries\, experience levels and backgrounds. Interested professionals may attend a chapter meeting as a guest for the $10 fee.
