DESCRIPTION:St. Margaret's "Cardiac Chat" Meeting\n\n \n\n"Cardiac Chat\," is a meeting for anyone with heart-related issues or lives with someone with heart problems.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday\, February 12\, from 3-4 p.m. in the Hospital's First Floor Classroom.  This meeting is FREE to the public.\n\n \n\nThe goal of Cardiac Chat is for individuals to learn the skills that help manage their condition and improve their quality of life.  Family members are encouraged to also attend and bring questions.  Attend for the whole hour or just stop in during the scheduled time.  Staff members from various departments in the hospital will be on hand monthly to answer various questions:\n\n \n\nNurse   blood pressure\, pulse and weight\n\nDurable Medical Equipment   questions about medical equipment\, oxygen\n\nSocial services   see what resources are available in the community   home health\, etc.\n\nPharmacist   discuss and answer any questions about medications\n\nCardiac Rehab   discuss physical activity and smoking cessation\n\nDietitians   dietary changes and weight management\n\nManaged Care   answer any questions about insurance/Medicare plans
