DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED\n\n\nThe Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) will hold their Business Breakfast Seminar on Wednesday\, February 14th @ 7:15 a.m. at Mario's Maples in Peru.  The focus of the seminar will be "IVAC 2017 Review and 2018 Strategic Plan".   \n\n \n\n\n\nSpeaker:\n\nJoni Hunt\, IVAC Executive Director \n\nJoni has focused on economic development for most of her professional career and she believes that economic opportunities are what sustain small communities and larger cities. The approach she takes builds relationships\, connects resources for projects\, and creates a positive environment where success becomes the likely outcome.\n\n \n\nJoni is passionate about people\, places\, and prosperity. In 2015\, she joined a century-old regional development organization\, where she has had repeated opportunities to assist project managers in finding properties\, buildings\, even financing. Joni feels these opportunities are important to the Illinois Valley whether its partnering with an expansion of a corner Mom and Pop retailer\, or negotiating rail service options for a multi-national corporation. \n\n \n\nHaving served in retailing\, custom fabrication\, education\, and government\, Joni has gained progressively complex skills and unique understandings from broad points of view\, exceeding the expectations of customers by engaging all appropriate resources toward economic development along the backbone of this region.
