SUMMARY:10th Annual Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run
DESCRIPTION:The motorcycles start at the Grundy County Fairgrounds where they have breakfast and line-up.  They leave the fairgrounds at 10:30 am and make their way to Marseilles where a ceremony will be held at the Memorial Wall at 1:00 pm.  The ceremony honors our fallen heroes\, and new names will be added.  From 3 pm  bands will perform and  a celebration will continue until 11 pm.\n\n\n\nThe main street of Marseilles is closed to cars starting at 8:30 am and will be closed until the end 11 pm.  Vendors will have booths set up on either side of the street.  Soldiers' Angels will have a booth - displaying items for sale\, information\, donations.\n\n\n\nIf you have not been to one of the Freedom Runs it is a moving sight.  They are led into town with police sirens blaring. The motorcycles and semi are decorated with flags and the roar of their engines makes all other sounds disappear.  The parade seems to go on forever with people coming from all over the country to ride in this Run.  They go through town down to the Illinois River where on the bank is the Memorial Wall with its many panels  listing the names of our fallen heroes..
